2023 Dragons '08 (U15)

Dragons 08 have arrived in Wichita, Kansas for the USYS National Presidents Cup Championship! Opening Ceremonies start NOW!

Match Day #1 Recap: The SCCSA Dragons 08 opened with a 4-1 loss is Game #1 of the USYS Nationals Presidents Cup. After a tough, rain delayed first half, the boys found themselves down 3-0 at tbe half. In the second half, they demonstrated that never quit attitude and battled to a 1-1 draw. The team looks to rebound on Match Day #2 to fight for a top 2 spot in the semis.

After the game, the Team and their families regrouped and enjoyed a great night of food and fellowship at a local Wichita Eatery. Spirits were high and the boys and supporters are ready for their Day 2 battle on Saturday at 3pm (Central Time). Go SCCSA! Go Dragons 08

Match Day 2 Recap- The Dragons 08 battled to a 1-1 Draw on Match Day #2 this afternoon. It was a hard fought contest that was full of scoring chances, great saves, and a lot of physical play. After the game, the boys and their families enjoyed a pasta dinner and celebrated Team Member Jonny Mendez’s 15th Birthday. Game 3 is set for Sunday at 12 PM (Central Time). Best of luck to the boys tomorrow!
