USYS Eastern Regional Presidents Cup (Jun 2023)

All of SCCSA would like to wish our Boys Dragons 08 the best of luck at they begin the 2023 Eastern Regional President Cup Championship in Valley Forge, PA TODAY! Game #1 kicks off at 5PM at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (Field 1), where the boys will start their journey to earn a Spot in the National Championship this July. Match Day 1 Recap - The Boys Dragons 08 drop a tough 1-0 decision to Naugatuck (CT) in their opener. The team buzzed around the goal throughout the game, just missing on more than a few chances. The team looks to rebound on Day 2 against Pittsburgh BVB International Academy Pittsburgh 08B Premier (PAW) at 11:30 AM on 6/17. Best of luck to the boys as the prepare for Match Day #2.

Match Day 2 Recap - After a tough opening day, the Dragons 08 rebounded with a 6-1 win over Pittsburgh BVB International Academy Pittsburgh 08B Premier (PAW) on Match Day #2. The win moves the team into second place in Group A of the U15 Division. A win or a tie on Sunday (Match Day #3) secures the team a spot in Monday’s Semifinal Game.

Match Day 3 Recap - SEMIFINALS SECURED! The Dragons 08 earned a 3-1 victory over the NJ Stallions Boca 08 today. Morgan Pelletier led the way with two (2) first half goals, and Sawyer Valle added a second half tally to secure the win. Derek Hall and the entire defense continued to play outstanding, allowing no more than one goal in any group stage game. The Dragons 08 will face United Elite Soccer Inc White 2008 (MD) in the 2:30 PM semifinal at The Proving Grounds (Field 6). Best of luck to the team as the play to secure a spot in the National Championship!

Match Day 4 Recap - SEMIFINALS EDITION!

Spot in Eastern Region U15 Presidents Cup Championship Secured!

Ticket Punched to USYS Presidents Cup National Championship in Wichita, Kansas!

The Dragons 08 earned. 4-2 victory over United Elite Soccer Inc White 2008 (MD) in the Eastern Region Presidents Cup Semifinals today. Cameron Paris scores two (2) goals, while Morgan Pelletier and Anthony Marker each found the back of the net too. The defense held a very talented United offense in check, allowing one goal in each half. The win secured the team a spot in Tuesday’s Final and earns them a spot in the USYS Presidents Cup National Championship. Well done! The Dragons 08 will face the Naugatuck Youth Soccer Naugatuck Boys 2008 (CT) in a match day 1 rematch in the final on Tuesday, June 20th at 11:45 AM. March will be played at The Proving Ground- Field 4. Congrats to players, coaches, and supporters on an outstanding accomplishment. Best of luck to the team as they look to bring the Eastern Region Championship home to SCCSA!
